IDP Competitive Team
We believe by creating a competition team, we can challenge dancers by providing more dance opportunities and experiences. Whether new or returning dancers, joining our competition team will help grow their dance technique, and performance quality, while learning terminology and increasing their knowledge of other dance styles. As well as focusing on dance skills we believe that being on a team also helps develops important life skills: dedication, humility, integrity, responsibility, strong work ethic, & team etiquette.
THE 2024-25 IDP TEAM WILL BE CHOSEN BY INVITATION ONLY. THERE WILL BE
AUDITIONS FOR SOLO OPPORTUNITIES ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 24th.

All dancers are placed in each group, based on but not limited to, dance experience, technique, maturity, and work ethic. We place students together in groups that we feel will work best together in classes, rehearsals, and performances. Making decisions regarding placement for the Invictus Dance Project Competitive Team and within the many routines that we produce is a long, difficult, and well-thought-out process. No dancer is ever “held back,” but instead, encouraged to develop their skills to the fullest and in the safest manner possible.
We strive to help each child reach their full potential as a dancer.
